Extremely rare "From Slaveship to Championship" on-site boxing poster for Ali vs. Foreman in Zaire. Magnificent full color artwork by the talented David Mosley. Created for one of the most important bouts in the history of boxing. The “Rumble in the Jungle” resulted in a masterful and dramatic fight, dominated by Muhammad Ali in his brilliant on-the-spot creation of the “Rope-a-Dope.” “From Slaveship to Championship” graphics in block lettering at top of poster boasts the proud accomplishments of Ali. Compelling civil rights era image of chained slaves on left side and continent of Africa behind Foreman & Ali. Slavemaster Don King appears in lower left.
