The mid-seventies belonged to OU. So incredibly dominant was this Sooner team that they were awarded the Associated Press crown despite being ineligible for a bowl game. This handsome 10K gold ring from Jostens is engraved “University Of Oklahoma, National Champions 1974” around a dazzling cz diamond centerpiece. The stone itself is set over a silver football with the players number “1” in background. “Cox”, stretches across the banner over an intricate player design surrounded by “1974 W-11 L-0, Undefeated-29”, on the left shank. “Sooners” and “Big 8” frame the “OU” helmet on the right shank.
