1975-1977 Hostess Collection of Complete Sets with Scarce 1975 Hostess Twinkies Set
Run of Hostess sets, which were the very popular issues from the 1970s. While most of the sets were issued on the bottom of boxes, the 1975 Hostess Twinkies set was issued in packs of Twinkies, ALWAYS bearing stains and are extremely difficult to locate in complete set form. Reason for each card having stains is the card itself was used as the cello package backing and had full contact with the sugary, greasy "food product." This set was also skip numbered. Includes: 1975 Twinkies - complete set of 60 cards (all with usual stains - PLUS a few extras) w/#5 Morgan, 7 Sutton, 19 McCovey, 29 Rose, 52 Fingers, 58 Ryan, 80 Yount and 130 Aaron. 1976 Twinkies - complete set of 60 cards (all with usual stains) w/#2 Morgan, 11 Yount, 16 Munson, 22 Bench, 33 Carew, 35 Seaver, 36 B. Robinson, 49 Stargell and 56 Palmer. 1977 Twinkies - partial set of (31/60) cards (all with usual stains) w/#3 Jackson (cut down), 4 Yastrzemski (cut down), 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 Stargell, 31, 32, 34 Yount, 35 Garvey, 36 Brett, 37, 38, 41 Carter, 42, 43 Schmidt, 44 Winfield, 45, 46, 47, 48, 51, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57 and 58. 1975 Panels - complete set of 150 cards (in 50 panels) PLUS Hooten and Madlock variations. All but one cut completely outside the dotted lines. 1976 Panels - partial set of 93 cards (in 31 panels) w/Ryan, Aaron panels. Missing most early panels. Most cut neatly outside dotted lines. 1977 Panels - partial set of 78 cards (in 26 panels) w/#1 Palmer/Morgan/Jackson, Ryan, Schmidt/Winfield panels. Most cut around dotted lines.
