1975 Boston Red Sox World Series Ring from the Man Who Discovered Wade Boggs

1975 Boston Red Sox World Series Ring from the Man Who Discovered Wade Boggs

A nice ring to this! Ten times rarer than the Cincinnati Reds version and far more attractive, this stunning Red Sox ring commemorating their 1975 American League pennant is distinguished by the "B" on the top and red stones within. It was presented to longtime Sox scout George Digby, who died in 2014. A veteran baseball man of 64 years, Digby was a key component of the Red Sox team OFF the field, as it was he who signed many great Red Sox players, including Wade Boggs. There can be nothing better though than this Size 9 ring from this most famous of Series. Who can forget the Carlton Fisk home run that flew into the stands, ending Game 6 in classic fashion? 36.8g.
