1975 Dave Kingman Road New York Mets Game Worn Jersey
A cult hero of sorts during his prime, Dave Kingman, better known by most as "Kong", was responsible for hitting some of the longest homeruns the sport has ever seen. His grey "road" gamer, dating from his first tour of duty in Queens, is sewn with "Mets 26" in blue-on-orange tackle twill on front and "26" on the reverse. The team's logo patch adorns the left sleeve and the manufacturer's tag, "Rawlings [size] 46", and, "Set 1 #8P 1975" flag tag, can be found on the tail. Inside the collar is a grey satin plate chain-stitched with "46 75 26" in blue thread. A rarely seen jersey from this former All-Star, with nice all around use, is a must for any Mets fan.
