1975 Donnie Shell Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey (Photo-Matched)
Preeminent specimen of a Pittsburgh Steelers gamer was obtained DIRECTLY from the player himself, one of the key components of the Steel Curtain defense. A master at interceptions, he nabbed amazing 51 in his career. Donnie Shell had a picture perfect career, winning four Super Bowls and being named to the Pittsburgh Steelers All-Time Team. Rich black jersey is all original with his "31" on the back, front and left shoulder. This number is absent from the right shoulder as it WAS NEVER THERE. It was not removed, it was never applied, which can be clearly seen in game action photographs. The immortal "SHELL" is sewn on a name plate on the back and signed below on the numbers in 9/10 black Sharpie, "Donnie Shell, Game Used, 4X SB Champs." On the front tail is Steelers Exclusive tag along with Sand-Knit size 46. There is also a "75" year tag tracing it directly to their second in a row Super Bowl X season. Most importantly, the shirt shows great use with six team repairs. Comes with Letter of Authenticity from Lelands.com swearing to the fact that we obtained this jersey directly from Steel Town immortal, Mr. Donnie Shell.
