1975 Ferguson Jenkins Texas Rangers Signed Game Used Jersey
The unsung Jenkins never got his due during an 18-year career, and nearly blew his Hall of Fame election because of a marijuana bust, yet his stats are inviolate: 284 wins, six straight 20-win seasons, 3.34 ERA and 3192 strikeouts. Jenkins' big problem was playing for losers such as the Rangers of the mid-'70s, yet in typical fashion he still he won 25 games in '74 and 18 in '75. Powder blue jersey from the latter has red on white on blue tackle twill "Texas" across the chest, "31" on verso, and trimming on sleeves. "Jenkins" stitched in blue above the number. Red "Rawlings 48" tag is on the lower front with "31 75" sewn in on a blue tag. Good game use. Excellent jersey of a classy Hall of Famer..
