1975 Home Movies With Muhammad Ali (2)
A rare opportunity to view the "Greatest of All Time" is available in this lot. This two reels of original Super 8mm film is in its original Kodak Film envelope, dated 3/15/75, and shows Muhammad Ali sparing with Larry Holmes for his third fight with Joe Frazier, known as the "Thrilla in Manilla." As these appear to be original "home movies," there is other material on the film that does not pertain to Ali, however it does contain footage of his fight preparation. Ali would win the third and final bout against Frazier by TKO in an epic contest, while Holmes in his own right would go on to be World Champion.
