1975 Mace Brown Boston Red Sox World Series Ring

1975 Mace Brown Boston Red Sox World Series Ring

Vintage 10 karat gold prize by Balfour is the one and only original ring awarded to player, Mace Brown (D.), one of the first relief specialists in baseball. Size 13 ring is in great condition (EX) and is an extremely tough acquisition from the year of Carlton Fisk's dramatic game winning "Body English" home run in Game 6. Top is red stone with gold baseball cut into the center. Surrounding text reads, "American League Champions, Boston Red Sox." Right shank is the name, "Brown" with Red Sox team logo engraved within baseball. Opposite shank is "1975" engraved with Boston "B" symbol below and the final score, "Boston 3, Oakland 0." Inside of the ring is stamped, "Balfour 10K."
