1975 National League All-Star Ring
Hey, now... you're an All-Star! The 1975 Mid-summer Classic took place at Milwaukee's County Stadium, and Cardinals manager Red Schoendienst was presented this Size 8.5 ring for his role as National League Coach on Walter Alston's staff. Red usually wore size 12 rings but had this one made especially small for his pinkie. It reads: "BASEBALL ALL STAR" around the blue stone on the face. The left panel features the MLB logo and "1975" while the right showcases his name inside a baseball with crossed bats and a star in the background. It is marked with a "B" and horse inside and is in EX-MT condition. Schoendienst would manage the Redbirds one more season in 1976, as well as stints in 1980 and 1990, He is still working in the Cardinals organization, the same one with which he made his big-league debut in 1945.
