1975 Steve Yeager Los Angeles Dodgers Signed Game Worn Jersey and Bat
Nice pair of items from Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Steve Yeager. 1) 1975 Los Angeles Dodgers game used home jersey has Size 40 Goodman & Sons tag in neck with "Set B '75" tagging on front tail. Jersey shows great wear and some aging, blue ink transfer across the chest, likely bleeding from a chest protector. Inscribed on bottom left tail, "To Steve, Best Wishes, Keep this No: 7 always, Your Friend, Steve Yeager." Signed in 6/10 black marker. 2) Yeager Louisville Slugger Model 125 bat measures 35" and weighs 33.25 ounces. We're unsure as to year or game use, but it does show distinct ball marks across the barrel, so it was at least used for batting practice. Number 7 is written on the knob in black marker, and there are spots of gouging on the barrel and top half of the bat.
