1975 Thurman Munson Signed Program with Photo
Thurman Munson was considered the "heart and soul" of the New York Yankees of the 1970s and was the team's first captain since Lou Gehrig when his life was tragically cut short in a plane crash at the age of 32. The central piece of this lot is a 1975 Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees game program, which is signed in 8/10 blue ball point pen on the front cover by Munson. The front cover of the program is detached and the card is scored in pen. The signature was obtained in person at the game and the lot even comes with a photo of Munson signing for other fans while wearing his road Yankee grays.
