1975 Vida Blue Autographed Game Worn Jersey
The Oakland dynasty’s young southpaw prodigy, Vida Blue was called up late in the 1970 season and no-hit the first place Twins. The season following, he was close to perfect, winning both the MVP and Cy Young awards. After 1971, his career faltered due to drug use, but his win-loss records were still impressive. Green pullover style Oakland Athletics jersey was worn during 1975, a season in which he tallied 22 wins. Signed in black sharpie on the front, just below the embroidered “A’s” on the left breast, the jersey shows exceptional use, front and back. “VIDA 14” on verso. Front tail tagging is “McAuliffe” surrounded by 1975 year, [size] 42 and care tags.
