1975 World Series Game Used Baseball (Reds COA)

1975 World Series Game Used Baseball (Reds COA)

Official National League (Feeney) baseball used in Game 5 of the 1975 World Series between the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox. This ball comes with the special provenance of having been originally obtained at the Cincinnati Reds gift shop. During the 1970s the Reds sold many game-used items, including bats, jerseys, and game-used balls, directly to fans through the club's "580 Gifts/News" shop. This is one such item and is accompanied a Cincinnati Reds COA that reads, "This certificate authenticates that the enclosed baseball is an official National League baseball which was actually used in the Cincinnati Reds game at Riverfront Stadium on the date indicated below. Furthermore, this baseball is one of only 36 being made available to collectors." Below that is printed "1975 World Series/5th Game/Reds-6/Red Sox-2." The ball displays light soiling consistent with its game use and is otherwise in Excellent condition.
