1975 World Series Game Used Baseball with Reds Certificate

1975 World Series Game Used Baseball with Reds Certificate

The 1975 World Series is ranked as the second-best World Series in baseball history by ESPN. In a hard fought seven-game series between the Cincinnati Reds and the Boston Red Sox, the Reds came out victorious, beating the Sox four games to three. Another hard fought battle during the series was getting your hands on an authentic game used baseball. This official National League (Feeney) baseball is one of the 36 sold by the Reds gift shop from Game 5, in which the Reds bested the Sox 6-2. What makes this baseball so important is the fact that it still has the original certificate indicating it was one of 36 offered to the public, the date of the game and the score. There were only a limited amount of these baseballs sold to begin with, and they rarely pop up with the original certificate, making it a true piece of baseball history from one of the best Fall Classics ever played.
