1975 World Series Johnny Bench Cincinnati Reds Signed Game Worn Jersey (Photo-Matched & MEARS A10)
Straight off the back of a Hall of Famer, this Johnny Bench signed game-worn Reds pullover jersey is from Game 1 of the 1975 World Series. It is also likely that Bench wore this jersey throughout the 1975 season, right when the Big Red Machine was revving up into high gear. The 14-time All-Star catcher signed the front with "The Big Red Machine" inscription in blue Sharpie. The gray road jersey shows nice use and comes with MEARS A10 LOA. There was originally staining on the lower tail on back, but all of it has been removed. The front of the V-neck jersey has CINCINNATI stitched in red tackle twill, along with the numeral 5, with the inscription immediately to the left. "BENCH" is arched across the reverse above the large number 5. The sleeves are ringed in red and white elastic, with red and white trim ringing the collar. There is a Wilson Size 44 tag with handwritten "1" inside the front tail. Photo-Matched LOA and MEARS 10 LOA.
