1976 Bob Lemon Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey
Lemon was a Hall of Fame pitcher for the Cleveland Indians and later on the manager of the New York Yankees. The jersey shows lots of use. “New York” on the front is all original as is “Lemon 76 1” strip tag in the collar and Wilson size 46 tag on front tail. Number “21” is not original as there was a number change and was then changed again back to “21”. Some staining on the reverse of the jersey. Jersey was used for several seasons by the Yankees. Stitches are apparent on the left sleeve indicating the removal of a black memorial armband for Casey Stengel.
