1976 John Hiller Detroit Tigers Game Worn Jersey
Two years after he set the Major League record with 17 relief wins, left-handed pitcher John Hiller wore this road jersey for the Tigers during the 1976 season. "Detroit" is stitched across the front with "HILLER" and "18" on the back. There is Wilson size 42 tagging in the collar with 43 (actual size) written in pen. There is a "76 2 42" strip tag on the front tail though the Detroit bicentennial patch has been removed from the left sleeve, while the outline of where it was placed is still visible. Hiller went 12-8 with an impressive 2.38 ERA out of the Tigers pen that season. A very tough to find road jersey that shows nice use.
