1976 Pete Rose Bicentenial Game Used Bat
This extremely tough bat is a personalized and signed Pete Rose Louisville Slugger from 1976. This was the year that the Cincinnati Reds knocked down the New York Yankees to win their second consecutive World Series title, and become only the second National League team to ever do so (after the 1921-22 New York Giants). Of note is that the five members of that decade’s Big Red Machine signed (vintage) this model S222 - George Foster, Ken Griffey Sr., Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench, and Pete Rose, who personalizes the bat “To Harry, Good Luck,” that being umpire Harry Wendelstedt. This historic ash weighs 36 ounces and stretches 35 inches, shows light use, is uncracked, and comes with 2 additional LOA’s.
