1976 Willie McCovey Autographed Game Worn Jersey
Home white pullover San Diego Padres jersey was anointed by the most feared home run hitter of his time, Hall of Famer, Willie McCovey. Worn during the 1976 season, the jersey shows nice use and wear from one of 3 years with the Padres. Additionally it is signed on the back between the numbers in blue sharpie. Front is “Padres 44” in brown on yellow tackle twill. Verso is “McCovey” on slightly arched nameplate with his number “44” nice and large below. Front tail tagging is “Medalist Sand Knit size 44” with the year “76” screened onto a plate to its left.
