1977-79 Jim Rice Game Used Bat
When he was a king, the 1978 batting champ for the American League, Jim Rice, posted awesome numbers in post-season play, as a Rookie in ’75, and as a veteran in ’86, the All-Star helped bring the Boston Red Sox to the World Series, and in the three years, 1977-79, where within this two-toned Hillerich and Brasby B298 was knocking ‘em out, Rice’s batting avg. was consistently, in order, .320/.315/.325. The bat has Rice's facsimile signature burned into the barrel, and has moderate use, with "#14" on the knob in marker. Uncracked symbol of Jim Rice’s late 1970’s eminence. Measures 34 ?”.
