1977 Goose Gossage Pittsburgh Pirates Signed Game Worn Jacket (Gossage LOA)
Colorful 1977 Pittsburgh Pirates bullpen jacket worn by Hall of Fame fireballer Goose Gossage during his one year with the Bucs. Bright yellow and black jacket has 54 46 77 number-size-year strip tag in collar, bold Pirates P on left breast, back is blank. Inside the tail on the right side are Descente and care instruction labels, with the latter having 46 3 stamped at the bottom. Shows nice use with some water stains from rain and other very minor blemishes; beautifully signed by Gossage and inscribed "HOF 2008" in 8-9/10 black Sharpie. Early in the closer-as-specialist era, Goose averaged just under two innings per appearance, posting 11 wins and 26 saves in '77. Comes with SCP LOA signed by Gossage.
