1977 Montreal Alouettes CFL Championship Ring
Despite a history that has seen their Canadian Football League team fold twice, the Montreal Alouettes continue the tradition that started with their inaugural season in 1946. This actual NRMT condition Championship Ring was awarded following the team's 1977 season, the fourth of the organization's seven all-time Grey Cups. Stamped 10K gold by Balfour inside, this ring was awarded to John Harrison, the Alouettes' director of operations. The team logo is on a stone on top, with "1977 Montreal Alouettes" on the bezel. The right shank reads "Alouettes 41, Eskimos 6," the score of their decisive victory over Edmonton. The left is adorned with the name "HARRISON" above an image of the Grey Cup (also written in French as "Coupe"), with "Canadian Football League" below. 25.4g. Comes with original purchase LOA from consignor. Size 10
