1977 New York Yankees World Championship Ring

1977 New York Yankees World Championship Ring

In Game 6 of the 1977 World Series, Reggie Jackson blasted a flat Charlie Hough knuckleball into the cool electric night of Yankee Stadium. When the ball landed 475 feet later, the legend of "Mr. October" was born and the Yankees were all but assured of their 21st World Series title. Here is a beautiful salesman sample of the Yankees '77 championship prize. The size 11.5 ring shows a splendid interlocking NY on the face framed with the words "World Champions Yankees." The left panel shows a mini World Series trophy in the middle of Yankee Stadium with "1977," "Pride" and "Tradition" above. The right panel has "Jackson" written on the top and "Yankees 21st World Championship" below. "LGD 10K" is stamped inside.
