1977 Willie Mays Signed Vintage Jersey
Willie Mays' Signed Vintage home Jersey. Hall of Fame center fielder Willie Mays played part of 1972 with the New York Mets, and then his 1973 season with them, his last as a player. Jersey tag in neck reads, "42 77 24." This jersey was produced in 1977, four years after Mays' retirement. Tag on lower front reads, "Rawlings The Mark Of A Pro 42." Mays' signature is in blue felt tipped marker and signed on inside of neck, to the left of the tag. On front of jersey, the letter "T" in Mets has a partial tear near the top of the letter and some separation in that spot between the blue and orange parts of the letter. Otherwise, the jersey is in excellent condition.
