1978 marked Gaylord Perry's return to the National League and the state of California, and after compiling an outstanding 21-6 record and 2.73 ERA with the Padres, he earned the National League Cy Young Award. From that super season comes this terrific collection of baseballs saved by the Hall of Famer, most of which were last-out balls from his wins, including his 20th win ball and 49th career shutout ball. Each has notations on the sweet spot in Perry's own hand listing the teams, scores, date and other pertinent information. All are official National League (Feeney) baseballs and show use.
