1978 George Steinbrenner Signed BOSTON Dinner Program
Basking in the glow of his first World Series championship three months earlier, and just 10 months before Bucky Dent would break Boston's collective heart, Yankees owner George Steinbrenner signed this program for the 39th Annual Dinner of the Boston Chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America. "The Boss'" beautiful black ballpoint inscription reads: "TO DAVID FROM HIS YANKEE PAL GEORGE STEINBRENNER."
