1978 Gordie Howe Game Used Stick
Goals scored with this stick did not add to the astonishing tally of 801 as Gordie used this stick during his days with the New England Whalers of the World Hockey Association. Factory stamped “Howe. G” high up on the shaft with a faint signature along the side. Date stamp under the fiberglass reads “17 Oct. 1978” meaning this is a stick from the final WHA season. The heavy black “bulldog” knob is crossed with white in a style unique to Howe gamers and the blade has its original tape and black rubbing as well. In absolutely fantastic condition with no cracking or damage.
