White pullover home jersey from the early years of a New York cult hero. “Cardinals” is chain-stitched across the chest with two logo birds perched on a bat above his double layer tackle twill number “37”. On the verso “Hernandez” stretches armhole to armhole over “37”. Inner tail is tagged “Rawlings [size] 42” with “Set 1 1978” flag tag. Good use shown throughout and sweat has caused the red trim to bleed lightly onto the underarm.
