1978 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball
It would be another eighteen years until the Yanks celebrated in October after these guys topped the Dodgers in six games. OAL (MacPhail) ball features twenty-seven dark blue ink signatures (and a light Billy Martin on the sweet spot). Catfish, Reggie, Gossage, Nettles, Chambliss, Lyle. There are even a few guys who know a thing or two about Yankee World Championships: Mantle, Ford and Berra. No Munson, Guidry. Ball has a few scattered very light stains but it's still one of the best balls from this season around.
