1978 New York Yankees World Championship Charm
After capturing the 1978 World Series crown, Yankees players, coaches and high ranking officials were given a ring and a charm in celebration. This was the charm awarded to pitching coach Art Fowler - actually to his wife, Ruth Fowler, and it has her name engraved on the back with "1978." It is also marked on the back by Balfour (LGB) and "14K" yellow gold. Around the rim on the front is "1978 YANKEES WORLD CHAMPIONS" and there is a blue stone with diamond in the center. This charm is in EX-MT to NRMT condition and was obtained from the Fowler family.
