The riotous Yanks were soothed by the emergence of Bob Lemon as manager and a deeply beneficial New York City newspaper strike to calm the surging waters of the Yankees clubhouse factions. Well this is the perfect representation of that red letter year. Twenty-six pennants of all the major league teams surround the crown and baseball sculpture perched on a black podium with a gold band engraved, World Champions New York Yankees 1978. Most importantly the bottom sports the vintage "Awards by Balfour" sticker. Measures a stately even foot tall and 7" wide. Classic!
