1978 Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Floyd Mayweather On-Site Fight Poster
On September 9, 1978 at the Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island, future multi=champion Sugar Ray Leonard took on Floyd Mayweather (father of Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather, Jr.) in an important welterweight bout. Leonard put Mayweather down twice in the 8th round and stopped him for good in the 10th. Offered here is a scarce, original on-site poster for the fight, made of cardboard with bold color and images. The poster has some staining but is not creased. Own this very seldom-seen, pre-championship poster of the great Sugar Ray Leonard.
