1978 Tom Seaver Signed Cincinnati Reds Tour of Japan Contract
One year after he arrived by trade from the Mets, a prime-aged Tom Seaver signed this one-page contract to represent the Cincinnati Reds in a goodwill exhibition tour of Japan. The one-page document is in EX-MT condition and was signed in 8/10 ballpoint pen by the Hall of Fame pitcher. It is dated Oct. 25, 1978, and stipulates the amount of $4,800 to be paid to Seaver for playing on the tour.
