1978 World Champion New York Yankees Team Signed Bat
Drive your favorite Red Sox fan crazy with this 1978 World Champion Yankees signed 31 ounce, nearly 35” long bat. One of the best team signed bats we have ever seen and obtained over a two day period in April of 1978 in person right outside the Yankees clubhouse at Yankee Stadium, this unused Reggie Jackson model “Big Stick” made by Adirondack (model P302F) even has a “Best Wishes” greeting from Mr. October dated 4-28-78 and all the signatures rate 10/10. The man who obtained these signatures sanded the barrel of the bat so that the signatures would not bleed. He later applied a clear coat of shellack to protect the signatures. As a result, this signed bat is near perfect. Small mounting holes in barrel and knob ends of bat. Other signatures include Thurman Munson, Elston Howard, Billy Martin, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, Rich “Goose” Gossage, Ron Guidry, Paul Blair, Phil Rizzuto, Yogi Berra, Mickey Rivers, Chris Chambliss, Sparky Lyle, Willie Randolph, Craig Nettles, Michael, Johnson, Howser and more. As good as it gets.
