1979 Baltimore Orioles American League Championship ring is of the same type awarded to the players, measuring size 9.75 and weighing 24 grams. Orange topaz set stone is surrounded by Baltimore Orioles around the bezel. Left shank bears the year above a swinging Oriole logo in relief; right has the name Geraghty above a script Orioles relief. Beneath that his a ball which is blank and would have been engraved with a uniform number had it been from a player, leading us to believe this was awarded to a member of the front office. LGB 10k stamped inside, made by Balfour, ring is in EX-MT condition. The O's won 102 games to capture the East Division pennant before topping the California Angels in the AL Championship Series, and outlasting the Pittsburgh Pirates in a classic 7-game World Series.
