1979 Bill Veeck Greatest Thrill Signed Letter
The wacky baseball ringmaster’s typed letter is on “Chicago White Sox” letterhead. It reads, in part, “…As far as my greatest thrill in baseball is concerned, I would have to say it was when we won the playoff game in Boston back in 1948, putting our Cleveland club into the World Series, which we then went on to win and become world champions…” Closing signtature is NRMT. Page is NRMT too, with original mailing folds. Includes original mailing envelope.
