Straight from the estate of the fiery manager come these eight personal checks filled out and signed in Martin's hand. Most are made payable to the "Balboa Bay Club," with the remainder paid to either "Howard Wong" or the "Newport Beach Country Club." Martin checks are really tough, and to see eight in one place is like seeing Billy working for Steinbrenner for eight consecutive seasons. Impossible!
