1979 George Foster All-Star Game Presentation Bowl (Foster LOA)
George Foster was a key contributor on the "Big Red Machine" teams of the 1970s that won back-to-back World Series in '75 and '76. Foster, a hard-hitting outfielder that batted from the right side of the plate, was a five-time All-Star during his career, and received this bowl as a member of the 1979 National League All-Star Team. The inside of the silver-plated bowl is engraved, "1979 All Star Game, Presented to George Foster" with Charles Feeney's signature engraved beneath. The bowl measures 5x15" and proudly displays the National League logo on the front. The bottom is stamped "Lunt V-75" and the bowl has some minor scratching inside. It comes with an LOA from Foster, who was named the NL's MVP in 1977. Foster's legacy also includes leading the NL in home runs for two years and leading the NL in RBIs for three years. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 2003.
