Bright 1979 Jim Spencer game worn New York Yankees jersey with a poignant reminder in the black armband on the left sleeve, in memory of team captain Thurman Munson. Strip tag in collar has Spencer 79 1, indicating year and set number, with Wilson size 44 tag on front tail. Interlocking NY logo on left chest of this button-down gem, with Spencer's number 12 in navy on the back. Light-to-moderate use displayed; not surprising as he spent most of the season in the DH slot while filling in occasionally for Chris Chambliss at first base. Comes with LOA signed by Spencer himself.
