1979 John Castino "Rookie of the Year" Game Worn Minnesota Twins Jersey
Minnesota Twins infielder John Castino showed great potential in 1979, parlaying a .285 batting average into that year's AL Rookie of the Year award, which he shared with Alfredo Griffin. Despite his promising start, Castino would spend only five more years in the big leagues as back issues derailed his career. This game-worn Twins jersey was donned by Castino during his rookie campaign.
