1979 Pirates World Champions Presetational Pendant
Being part of the Pirates' "We Are Family" circle in '79 meant getting one of these rare gold world championship pendants, which were made exclusively for the team's players and front office staff after the emotional comeback conquest of the Orioles. Pendant is slightly less than 1", with gold necklace chain. Meticulously engraved with the team's swashbuckling Pirate's head symbol and encircled by "1979 Pittsburgh Pirates World Champions" on the front, the championship trophy and "World Champions 1909-1925-1960-1971-1979" on verso. NRMT with a spectacular caramel gold hue. By Balfour with the original soft-cushioned blue box, also NRMT.
