An absolute fitting and tremendous memento from the Pittsburgh Pirates’ book-ended decade of World Series wins, this being the banner from 1979, when first baseman Willie Stargell ( who signs) and crew came back from a 3-1 trailing to win in 7. All-Star Stargell’s signature is a beauty and the perfect bonus, being that he was bestowed with a triumvirate of MVP’s that year - National League, National League Championship Series, and World Series Championship. This banner hung under Old Glory in centerfield at the Three Rivers Stadium, and measures 8 ft. 4 inches x 3 ft. 11 inches. Join the Family!
