This wonderful selection of miniature statues was created in 1979, and offered in this lot is a total of 23 statues covering 21 of the 38 available players. Duplicates are included of Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays, each of which includes the rare bronze variation. George Brett is scarce, and the set averages NM-MT collection. Statues without original boxes include: McCovey, Carew, Clemente, Brett, Garvey, Munson, Koufax, Aaron, Kiner, Mays. With original boxes: Gehrig, Cobb (broken bat, still with piece), Lopez, Johnson, Ott, Mays, Wagner, Speaker, Hornsby, Mathewson, Ruth, Guidry. Missing from the series are: Blue, Cedeno, Chance, Dean, Evers, Horner, Lemon, Mazzilli, Oliver, Perry, Rose, Ryan, Stargell, Tanana, Tiner, Wills, Young. Statues each stand about 3" tall, with magnificent detail.
