From the time Sugar Ray was on the ascent in pro boxing, prior to winning World titles in five different weight classes and becoming the undisputed Welterweight Champion. One of the most popular fighters ever, Leonard is in the International Boxing Hall of Fame and in 2002 was ranked by The Ring as the 9th best boxer in the past 80 years.
