1979 Willie Mays New York Mets Game Worn Jersey
Historic 1979 Willie Mays game worn coach's jersey, from his last season with the New York Mets. Displays light use, consistent for a coach, tagging "42 79 24" inside front tail with Rawlings size 42, and "Set I 1979" tag. Road gray pullover has a button collar, and the Say Hey Kid's iconic number 24 is below the script Mets logo on front, and name is on a plate above the number on back, all in blue-on-orange lettering. Mets logo patch on left sleeve completes the picture, as the 1979 year was not only Willie's last in uniform, but it was also the year he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
