1980's Howie Long Oakland Raiders Signed Game Worn Jersey

1980's Howie Long Oakland Raiders Signed Game Worn Jersey

Tapered to show off his Greek God physique and keep offensive lineman from grabbing hold, Howie Long's game used Raiders jersey also has baby snap fastened shirttails to keep it from un tucking. The Sand-Knit size 54 white mesh "road" jersey is a study in simplicity, from the Al Davis School of Design. Black letter and numbers, silver trim. "HOWIE LONG" is on the nameplate sewn on the back, with his signature running down the middle. No tears in the fabric, but a few turf marks. Swift and strong, the eight-time Pro Bowl defensive end was usually the one to put opponents on the ground. NFL films showed a clip with the Howie Long name plate. This was the only jersey we have seen with his whole name.
