1980 Michael Cooper's L.A. Lakers Championship Ring

1980 Michael Cooper's L.A. Lakers Championship Ring

The very ring awarded to this possible Hall of Famer for the first of five World Championships he won with Magic, Kareem and the boys. That's a real diamond burrowed in the center of the face, with "N.B.A. World Champions" surrounding in raised text. Left shank has the "N.B.A." logo with "1980" framing it. Right shank has "Cooper" engraved above the Lakers logo, with "123-107" below. "Balfour 14K" stamped inside the band. Size eleven. Also included is the original polished wood and glass presentational box, which holds the ring on a bed of purple velvet. "Lakers World Champions 1980" is etched in the glass, with "Michael Cooper" brass plaque below. These just never come out, so if you're waiting for the next one, you better bring something to read because you'll be a while.
