1980 Salvador Sanchez vs. Partick Ford On-Site Fight Poster
On September 13, 1980, world featherweight champion Salvadore Sanchez defended his title against Patrick Ford in San Antonio, Texas. In a tough fight at the Freeman Coliseum Sanchez won a majority 15 round decision. Offered here is a very scarce on-site poster advertising the fight in San Antonio. This original, paper poster has been professionally linen backed. Bold color and clear image of Sanchez. Minor restoration. 22" x 27.5". Very scarce Sanchez on-site poster from his championship years. Sanchez was tragically killed in a car accident at the height of his career.
