1980s-90s Baseball Stars Game Worn Signed Jersey Collection (5)
1) 1990 Jack Clark signed San Diego Padres home jersey. Clark was an oufielder and first baseman who played 18 MLB seasons, mostly with the San Francisco Giants. Not a bad guy, but was known as "Jack The Ripper". He hit 340 homers and made 4 All-Star teams. White with brown pinstripes. Back reads "CLARK 25". Tag reads " Rawlings [size] 52, Set 1, 1990 1 inch extra length". Signed, with a black felt tipped marker, in large neat script on back. Excellent condition. 2) 1988 Wally Joyner California Angels away jersey. Joyner, a first baseman, played 16 MLB seasons, his first six with the Angels. He hit .295 during this 1988 season. He was known as "Wally Wonder". Tag reads "Rawlings Major League Baseball [size] 44, Set 1, 1988". Back reads "JOYNER 21". Left sleeve has California Angels patch. Excellent condition. 3) 1993 Chad Curtis California Angels away jersey. Curtis played his first three Major League seasons with the Angels. Mostly a centerfielder, he had good speed and stole 212 bases lifetime. Later, he played with 5 more teams, including the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees. Tagged "Russell Athletic" and "Diamond Collection Authentic Major League Baseball [size] 42 1993". On back "CURTIS 17". Excellent condition. 4) 1986 John Kruk San Diego Padres rookie away jersey. Kruk played ten Major League seasons and hit .309 in this 1986 rookie year. Later, the popular Kruk played with the Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago White Sox, and became a broadcaster. He has exactly a .300 lifetime average."Tag reads "Tailored exclusively for Prestige Teams by Wilson [size] 44. Smaller tag reads "86". Letters "RAK" are on left sleeve as memorial to former San Diego Padres owner Ray A. Kroc. Back reads "Kruk 8". Excellent condition. 5) 1990 Julio Franco Texas Rangers, signed. Johnny Cash sang the song "I've Been Everywhere", but it equally applies to Julio Franco. In an amazing example of longevity, Franco played 23 Major league seasons with 8 Major League teams, finishing with the Atlanta Brave when he was 48-years-old. Signature is beautifully signed with black felt tip marker on the front of the jersey. Tagged "Rawlings Official Licensee of Major League Baseball. [size] 42 14 Set 1 1990". "FRANCO 14" on back. Excellent condition.
